The Funny Site of the Day -- Dr. Horrible (Neil Patrick Harris) finds himself on an ordinary day, taking a break from evil deeds to file another chummy post on his video blog. Answering email is a bit of a chore until a musical breaks out and Dr. Horrible is in love! Singing and sinning his way into your heart -- in three parts.

This short-form movie is a low budget experiment to produce quality entertainment outside of the rigid Hollywood system. Director-writer Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel) has created the offbeat project for the Internet. That is until late November, when, reportedly, the free online viewing will disappear. Uh, that's Horrible.

Don't despair because iTunes downloads are available for a nominal fee and an eventual DVD is a natch. Dr. Horrible is also, it seems, alter ego Dr. Capitalist.

So hurry to view more familiar faces (Nathan Fillion, Felicia Day, Simon Helberg) in what Whedon describes as "a supervillain musical, of which, as we all know, there are far too few."
