A Funny Site of the Day with Mike Durrett Interspersed among the once-newsworthy topics are notable comic figures Mae West, Sid Caesar, Ben Turpin, Pee-wee Herman, Miss Piggy, Jack Paar, Jane Fonda as Barbarella, President Johnson's beagles, and my favorite cover, the one wall-mounted behind me, an exuberant August, 1951 snapshot of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. Additionally, "LIFE" has plugged all of its 1936-1972 issues into a special Cover Search engine, so if you have a specific memory not included with the "wackiest" items or you are simply curious, plug-in search terms to recall the photographs. Be sure to put names in quotes (i.e. "Jackie Gleason") to narrow your results. I did and I was delighted to locate the adorable 1960 Hayley Mills edition.
